We’re So Sorry!

Apparently we haven’t been receiving any suggestions from people who have submitted their Website Designs to the Gallery. Looking in our log we can tell that there have been a number of people since the website launched, but we can only see that they tried and were not able to submit. We sincerely apologize to all of you and ask that you submit your website once more. Both the Submit Website, and Suggest a CMS forms are now fixed. Thanks for your patience as we iron out the kinks in the site.

New Plone.org Website

In case you didn’t notice, the Plone.org website has been totally revamped. It’s a lot easier on the eyes than the last eight-year-old version, and a lot more organized. It no longer uses the default skin that Plone comes with, but instead opts for a more promotional/marketing approach. We still experienced some slow downs and problems on the site, but the dust will probably settle soon. Read more about the redesign at their blog.

We’ll let you read the post, but a few of the announcements include: native file management, and an internal image editor for cropping/resizing photos. Nice!
